BENEFITS OF A BOUTIQUE PRACTICE...

>Owner Operated: Run by an experienced, senior psychologist who personally delivers all sessions.

>Consistency: Clients see the same clinician every time, building trust and continuity.

>Depth over Volume: Fewer clients overall, but with more detailed care and tailored assessments.

>Reputation Based: Relies on quality, word of mouth and GP trust rather than advertising.

> Professional Warmth: Aiming to provide that calm, safe, and personal experience. Not corporate or clinic style environment.

Wendy warmly welcomes families and individuals to reach out for a chat about how RCP can support their goals.
Our Philosophy
Rainbow Care Psychology's mission is to provide quality, caring and accessible counselling and assessment services to local children, adolescents, adults and their families to foster their growth and resiliency.
Operating locally for twelve years, Rainbow Care Psychology has been a local leader in child and adult therapy. First opened in June 2014 by Wendy Henriks. Wendy graduated with Honours in Psychology at Deakin University, and she has over nineteen years psychological work experience helping children, adolescents and adults in a multitude of settings.

At Rainbow Care Psychology, clients always see the same experienced, fully registered psychologist-never a rotating contractor or early career psychologist. Wendy provides consistent, personal care and a sense of continuity that helps clients feel genuinely supported from start to finish.
With a passion for psychology and helping others, Wendy brings care, professionalism and commitment to her work with her clients. She believes in fostering a real connection, and using client centered and evidence-based practices to encourage positive change and growth.
Working with children is a real joy for Wendy and she firmly believes in the significance of early intervention in helping to create resilient young adults later in life.
While having a special interest in children and adolescents, Wendy also has significant experience working with adults.
